Control room

Operators need the control room to perform their operations at the operations consoles. These operations consoles are connected to special server racks in the server room for communication with Columbus Control Centre (Col-CC) or other User Support and Operations Centres (USOC's).

The control room enables personnel to operate all payload models that can be connected to the mission control software (CD-MCS).

These include:

• engineering models (PCDF EM, SOLAR ESTM)
• flight models (PCDF FM, SOLAR FM)
• other models (EPSS, SOLAR software simulator)
